This is a beautiful flying crane patch, inspired by the beautiful sandhill crane.

In Japan, the crane is a mystical creature and is believed to live for a thousand years. As a result, in the Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture, the crane represents good fortune and longevity. The Japanese refer to the crane as the “bird of happiness.

Cranes are often used in weddings as a sign of a long and prosperous marriage. Why not use these as wedding favours, or give to the happy couple as a special token for their day.

This wonderful patch brightens up any jacket or bag. Sew it on in place and your patch will be permanently held in place!

Iron Instructions:

  1. Set your iron to the hottest temperature setting for heavy materials such as denim, and a lower setting for more delicate fabrics. Do not use steam!
  2. Place the patch in the desired position and place a fabric, such as a pillowcase or tea towel over the top.
  3. Press the iron down over the patch for around 10 seconds.
  4. Turn your garment inside-out, or turn it over, and repeat the previous steps.
  5. Allow the patch to cool.

The patch measures 100mm x 70mm and will come packaged plastic free!

It will be posted out to you in a hard-backed envelope for protection in the post. Buy as many patches as you like and only pay postage once.

Please note, the colour of your patch may vary slightly from the photos.
